Description Scott Ferguson 2004-08-16 10:19:51 UTC
I haven't been able to specifically pinpoint this bug, but it seems to be when
Firefox is busy (multiple windows, panels open, lots of tabs, etc.) that I get
this message from xcompmgr -c:

error 3 request 155 minor 6 serial 19443917
error 9 request 153 minor 4 serial 19443918
error 4 request 54 minor 0 serial 19444031
error 176 request 153 minor 7 serial 19444032

As well, the entire system gets a little dogged down and I usually have to kill
and restart xcompmgr -c

same here!

this is intrinsic to XAA, and as such can't be fixed directly. the solution is
to migrate to a superior acceleration architecture like exa or xgl, both of
which are works in progress.
