I would like to request the addition of a phonetic Cyrillic keyboard map. Here's
a working keyboard map that was posted several years ago:

Installing the ru_phonetic file from the attached tarball as
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb/symbols/pc/ru_phonetic produces a working phonetic
Cyrillic keyboard.

Sam, could you please hava a look at existing ru(phonetic) in xkeyboard-config -
and see whether it is what you want - or provide a patch against it. Thanks a lot.

The mapping in xkeyboard-config is indeed nearly identical to that old mapping I
found a couple of years ago...
