Description Tilman Sauerbeck 2004-09-13 09:49:28 UTC
using $Id: xcompmgr.c,v 1.27 2004/09/10 05:55:18 ajax Exp $

When xcompmgr is run windows aren't redrawn correctly when they are moved, for
example. This only happens when client-side compositing is enabled (e.g. with
the -c switch). If server-side compositing (-a) is enabled, it's working.

On the screenshot you can see what happened when I opened one XTerm in twm and m
oved it around a bit.

When xcompmgr is killed, the "ghost windows" disappear.

This problem occurs with OpenBox 3.2 and with twm (didn't test any others as Ope
nBox 3.2 is known to work with xcompmgr).

I run Xorg 6.8.0.

Seems to be fixed in Xorg 6.8.1.
