Description [src]

We may want to know before we run a method if we are going to be denied, accepted or challenged for authentication.

Available since: 0.5.2

This method completes asynchronously. Use pk_control_can_authorize_finish() inside the GAsyncReadyCallback to obtain the result of the operation.

Parameters

action_id

Type: const gchar*

The action ID, for instance “org.freedesktop.packagekit.install-untrusted”.

The data is owned by the caller of the method.
The value is a NUL terminated UTF-8 string.
cancellable

Type: GCancellable

A GCancellable or NULL.

The argument can be NULL.
The data is owned by the caller of the method.
callback

The function to run on completion.
