Description [src]

Set a proxy on the PK daemon

NOTE: This is just provided for backwards compatibility. Clients should really be using pk_control_set_proxy2_async().

Available since: 0.5.2

This method completes asynchronously. Use pk_control_set_proxy_finish() inside the GAsyncReadyCallback to obtain the result of the operation.

Parameters

proxy_http

Type: const gchar*

A HTTP proxy string such as “username:password@server.lan:8080”.

The data is owned by the caller of the method.
The value is a NUL terminated UTF-8 string.
proxy_ftp

Type: const gchar*

A FTP proxy string such as “server.lan:8080”.

The data is owned by the caller of the method.
The value is a NUL terminated UTF-8 string.
cancellable

Type: GCancellable

A GCancellable or NULL.

The argument can be NULL.
The data is owned by the caller of the method.
callback

Type: GAsyncReadyCallback

The function to run on completion.

The argument can be NULL.
user_data

Type: gpointer

The data to pass to callback.

The argument can be NULL.
The data is owned by the caller of the method.
